tiny tach..

has anyone got a tiny tach commercial on their bike?? if so what sort of battery did you use for the external power supply??

If the bike is using 12v as the power supply (battery) why not add a power resistor to drop the power to the tach? (will have to work out the correct ohm rating for 9.6v though)

no, the bike im putting it on doesnt have any 12v power supply... but the tiny tachs are designed to run on 8 to 50 volts dc

Just run it off a good old fashion 9V DC alkaline battery.

same tach i use
but i got mine second hand, so im a bit sketchy on all its features and how to use them.
ive got it set up on my bike, so it reads the revs but im not sure about the rest of it.
can you pm me with some detailed instructions please???
