some only go to 10,000 rpm if you want one for a aircooled cag they should be ok, some cags will rev over 10,000 rpm but power will drop off over the 10,000 rpm mark

if you want one to show maximum rpm or for a watercooled bike u will need to get a more expensive one that will go to 20,000 rpm

you may find a second hand one in the used kart parts on ebay or ask at a kart track

yeah most banchees have to have the squish reset & a few other little tweaks like genuine dell & reeds to get them going how they should

& thats how the tachos usually come a 10,000 rpm tacho is usless on a watercooled bike
but will just do OK for a cag as long as you dont wanna know peak rpm's

hey mate i have a digital tacho for you. revs to 20,000rpm and records highest rpm achieved. Also great for setting up your clutch. Has an alligator clip that clips straight onto your plug lead. These are very accurate. send me PM if interested.
