4 stroke airfilter?

Hey.
Whats the difference between a 4stroke and 2stroke airfilter?
obviastly a 4stroke filters for a 4stroke and vice versa but is there anythin stopping somebody putting a 4stroke filter on a 2stroke?

No difference. They are both air filters. They do the same job.

ok.. its just that some are advertised as 4stroke airfilter or 2stroke airfilters instead of just "airfilters"

Only 'real' difference is the length, 2 stroke metal filters are an inch long, the 4stroke versions are 2" long

Different throat diameter too ...
