banshee trouble hitting band?

Hi all, went for a ride on my banshee today for the first time and had trouble hitting band! sometimes it would kick in and sometimes it wouldn't......haven't really come across this problem before, any ideas? thought maybe might be clutch slipping but not sure?

dont know much about the banshee, is it still running the chinese plug ???. if so try a NGK or brand name plug & inspect how its running, it may be just jetting but a genuine dell would improve things im sure

but i could only suggest giving the fuel system a good flush out as they need to be done from new & a good quality plug to start with

the engine may be a little tight or it may be getting hot
try rebleeding the cooling system or flush it out as i have had a alloy radiator with casting sand or somthing in it from new.
also make sure the pump belt is in good nick & not streached perished or slipping, chinese oring belts can be a bit of a rough fit .

it could be .Or its getting hot.Take it easy for the first couple of tanks. To bleed the air out yo remove the small hose at the bottle.pour collant in the bottle and blow down the tube.Repeat this untill its full and only coolant is circulating. To fush it out remove the hose from the head and remove the bottle cap ,and stick the garden hose on it and turn it on.Watch all the rubbish come out.

Just see how it goes after it's run in. My first Banshee had a similar problem that went away after it was run in.
