Reading is your friend; "The Large CC X-Can is a great alternative to the tuned pipe if you looking for killer bottom end power and good smooth top end speed" Taken from that page, its an exhaust...

The X can is useful for applications where you get the choice between a stock style can or box muffler like comes on many small industrial engines and where there is no room for a full sized tuned pipe.
They can be rather loud but do provide much better performance then a restrictive muffler or a straight peice of exhaust pipe.
Ideal for applications purely where space is an issue like a go-ped or radio control car.

The appliaction on RC cars in dusty conditions has been questioned in the past though as dirt can work it's way back into the engine through the exhaust.
