POCKETRACINGBIKES is an unknown quantity at this point
Thumbs up

I tried that mod years ago and it works well, try the bzm reeds ,they have a better variety than the polini ones and are better quality.

sexy reeds for a cag!!

I had a single block carbon reed in a 2nd hand bike i brought a while back... worked good enough that i havent seen them for months... i suspect they're in one of morties bikes

PBU has carbon reed material on their website that you can buy and cut your own reeds.

it was a good mod & i decided to do it after breaking numerous Chinese triple stage reeds

im unsure if this mod would be legal in the modified cag class or not
but with a good ada rep head kit, lightened flywheel & jetpro + a genuine walbro your getting some nice power out of the humble cag that would suprise knockers or these engines
the main problem is we dont have alot of choice in clutches tho.......... im thinking polini dream bike type clutch bell may fit??? but the clutch taper would not

hey mac i gave the guy that bought my quad a clutch bell and clutch off my dreambike rep, apparently he has gotten the clutch to fit by running a countersink into the back of it and clamped it on.

the bell is 78mm so im not sure if thatd fit in the housing. it assume it probably would!

only problem with bzm reed's they dont really fit they are wider than polini and it makes it harder to make the spacer as the spacer need's a wider hole in center if you trim the bzm reed's down they work, thats wat im runing and have had no problems
