Stock / Performance Carby for Chinese Bikes!?

Hello all,

I purchased a pocket bike off Ebay, a stock Chinese 49cc CAG. The Carburettor that came with it has a pod air filter as well as a primer down the bottom.

Since my purchase, the carby has split hence made the bike unridable. What Carbies should I be looking at purchasing? Specific names preferably from ozminimoto would be good.

Thanks.

(On another note.... I have these carbies here but they did not fit:
** Pocket Bike Carburetor / Carbie Unit 49cc ** Part - eBay, Road Bikes, Pocket Bikes, Cars, Bikes Boats. (end time 26-Aug-07 16:26:46 AEST)

the carby you got from ebay is the correct one for a cag
you will need the correct inlet manifold to suit

it sounds like your bike came with the WKY replica carby<<(rubbish), they come on some cag or (reed valve) engine bikes, but are mainly used with piston port engines

so a pic of your engine or one identical to your engine is needed to give you the rite advice

Sikko_X2,

Please refer to the bottom of my thread opener; Stock Carbies do not fit this bike.

if you use a standard cag inlet manifold the clear return line can be plugged but you may have problems with air in the fuel line as you have no primer to purge the air from the line

i suggest selling the standard carb that wont fit & fitting a walbro or hp replica kit they come with inlet & all other parts to fit & use the fuel line return line & primer pump similer to the carb you have
