oh really...
After checking the plug, I noted it was white and extremly dry..
So, with the help of others tried re-jetting the carb.. First attempt went two sizes up and made it too rich...Second attempt went up one size and still seemed too rich...
It's already running BP Ultimate with motul 800..
But perhaps reducing the compresion could do with looking into..

Also try a higher octane fuel, better for the pre-ignition problem you have.

Glen I think in that video I can hear when your engine starts to go wrong. It sounds as if it begins to get a little rattly about a minute before it finally stops.
My advice some better fuel. See what's convenient. For me adding Toluene is the most convenient octane booster and also the cheapest.
I guess I had better ask also is your cooling up to scratch on your engine. Detonation will set in once the engine gets too hot too.

You can make out anything through the wind noise is beyond me ...(i have since rectified the cam)
I went out and bought a bottle of Wynns octane booster, and is ready to go for a test first thing in the morning, cause tonight I have just finished instaling a 19mm Del Rep and fuel tap.... Also made up another gasket for the head, in order to reduce compresion as Dazza suggested, using .5 paper..
In the way of cooling it's a std Blata A/C rep head and barrel....
The plug was dry and white after it blew, so I will be interested to see what it looks like tommorow after a 5 min test in the driveway.. I may have to have a dable at the jetting on the new carb...
