WBR's bzm dream bike

since this is my first post let me start buy saying my names ben im the other wbr guy and this is a new bike that we are building hopefully to compete in the vic tittles so far we got every thing just need to put it together but thort id post some of the engine pics its a bzm 50cc 5 port air cooled with 260 crank 19mm dellorto carbi and bzm 50cc race pipe and its going in a 911 dream bike ill post more photos as we get them hope you like

Should go well but the main thing is it should be reliable
Only question is why did you decide to go air cooled did you get the engine cheap ?

The BZM A/C are only rated at 4.2- 5hp aren't they I think that's a little bit tame for the cash ? Considering the blata rep AC engine puts out around 5hp standard

Don't get me wrong The bzm will last alot longer & be way more reliable than any Chinese engine, but id be spewing if I got done by something with a Chinese blata rep or polini rep

Hopefully the bzm's advantage may be not having huge peak power but good power all through the rev range from start to top end & reliability & longevity

It,s been a while ....Hi ! Re the Bzm they bought out 2 models in the A/C ,one rated at 4.2hp and one rated at 6.2 hp the WBR boys have a 6.2 nice looking motor too ! You are right though my lad has a Blata 14 R and it is rated at higher hp than the Bzm`s .

if its a 50cc 5 port engine,that is way more than 6.2hp!!!
try 10+hp. i have done a few up and they are well over the 10hp mark.......
bzm 420 cases = 4.2hp 40cc a/c.
bzm 620 cases= 6.2hp 40cc a/c,w/c, 50cc a/c,w/c.

The BZM 50cc 620 cases are over 10hp just like Danny said.

yeah thats what i thort 10+ we did some research and thats what we came up with around 10-12hp by the way cheers dazza for selling it to us
