EV pocket bike - nameless..

eBay Motors: Brushless Etek Motor NIB (item 130167043816 end time Oct-29-07 23:17:46 PDT)

so my latest electric pocket bike conversion begins... also picked up a matching Sevcon brushless controller to go with it so have a nice combo there.

now for some mooching. i need a new frame definitely not a cag frame due to massive weakness and lack of brakes so was looking for a stripped out rolling watercooled frame. anyone got anything? fairingless is fine.

but yeah aside from that the setup will be pretty standard. motor chain drive to the rear wheel, batteries slung low down up front and a whole lot of power

hoping to employ 36v worth of a123 battery cells. just need to work out how many i will need. at this stage hoping 3 parrallel packs (8.9Ah) will keep me out of trouble.

will use this as a bit of a progress report anyway. i think we need progress reports anyway

cheeeres

umm i don't have pics at the moment but the rear swing arm looks like its been over tightened at the wheel its comes with nothing alse so if you need a rolling frame it wont be much good, Ive never done the postage thing so i don't no how much it will cost pm me if you cant get a rolling frame.

How would it go packed with sealed cells? you would need a way to keep them charged and peaked to get anything out of it wouldnt you ?!

Most SLA cells only have punch for a short duration ...

Cant wait to see it though ... sounds like a smaller version of livewire (Project LiVeWiRe) <- googled
