Good thing about Hydrogen is that if u run out of water u can piss in the fuel tank..

I guess if someone said "your bikes shit i'm gonna piss in your fuel tank" u'd be like "AWESOME MORE MILEAGE" lol

Hydrogen is retrieved from water isn't it? LOL I better check!

lol most likely. so far its

$400us for the Sevcon controller
$317us for the motor
$115 aus shipping or so for them
$80us x 3 for the batteries
$? for the rolling frame.

probably get a few dollars change out of 1k. but hey beating a $3000 euro bike with it will be worth it

i already have much thicker #40 roller chain so wont need to buy more of that but it was $50 for 10 meters anyway.

edit - LMAO at the hydrogen comments XD my friend up in queensland has a GEET generator that he has working powering a petrol generator and it runs off old motor oil and grease and such. should be able to piss in that and power your house !!

and wrt to the batteries they will be Lithium iron nanophosphate i think theyre called.. a123 brand. ive already got 3 24v packs i use in my robot gear and they are wicked. 2.3ah, 24v and 600g weight. power to weight is NUTS. the batteries in this bike will be less than 4kg.

check on ebay for the 36v lithium dewalt packs. they really are quite cheap. $80us usually.

atm im making a controller that will basically emulate a charger for a single pack (3x 12v strings in parrallel) and allow you to use one as a car/boat/motorbike battery instead. i imagine racers and ricers would be into replacing a 20kg spillable lead acid battery with a 4kg setup

thanks

white zombie ftw!

youll probably find most of the ev bikes are pretty loud because of the chain drive. i have craploads of 15mm wide 5mm HTD belts and aluminium timing pulleys around but there a bit too wide to fit on a pocket bike. blast
