C'mon, guys, I didn't say anything about anyone's bikes being good-looking or bad-looking ..... I threw a pic of mine up there for fun. I already knew I was going to get laughed at, but that was the point ... to have some fun and give you guys a laugh. There's a bunch of really nice bikes on here, and it shows you're really serious about your rides - just because I'm not as serious about my ratbike doesn't mean I'm not having fun with it, and isn't that what this sport is all about? Not just the competition, but having fun doing what you're doing? I could have shown pictures of my stock black HF Cag, but how many stock Cags do you see every day? Probably a lot. Mine may not be the prettiest (and actually, I HAVE seen several in a lot worse condition, believe it or not), but it does what I want it to, and despite being ugly, it actually performs pretty decent. It's not a race bike - that's what my other bike is for. It's not MEANT to be a "serious" bike like all of these are. It's meant to be a FUN bike ...... and for me, that's what it is.

Oh, and Glen, just for the record, that "turd" does 35mph (on GPS), and I'm 5'9, 200.

Nice ride, Grumpy. I have to ask: going to put a cartoon pic of Grumpy on the side? Or do you already have it someplace else on the bike?

I know, just figuring someone else besides me would think putting a ratbike in a beauty contest was funny ..... The amount of work I had to do on that thing to even getting it running halfway decent was unreal - the previous owner had decided to use it for a dirt bike, and promptly beat the hell out of it, so I really had my work cut out for me ....

Yeah, you're right - top end is an American thing, while you Aussies are defintiely more serious about low-end grunt pulling out of the twisties. Maybe some of us guys over on this side of the pond need to take some lessons from you dudes on how to set up a bike for cornering .... and a couple of us could show you a few speed tricks, too.

Nice rides, Glen. Detail on the top bike is really nice - the anodized stuff looks good, and I like the paint job on it.
