Smile New to Pocket bikes

I am probably getting a pocket bike for christmas and I have got a few questions to ask...
1. I have read that there is only one place to race and that is only 1ce a fortnight- kinda sux... Is there anywhere else to go ride? If not I think every1 could make a petition to have somewhere else as wel, I think that the gov would agree because they hate the "hoons" that ride around on the streets.

2. What kinda clothes do u wear to the races- full leathers or just wateva?

3. How many ppl ride pocket bikes in WA?

4. Are they expensive to maintain? coz from wat i have seen they are hell cheap in everyway.

5. With ppl making a track,... There is a deserted mini- shopping centre with a tiny car park next to it. Why deosnt the gov make that into one insteed of forceing pocket bike riders into riding illegally on the road/ footpath?

thanks

Im pretty sure that politicians would have better things to do. As if the goverment would really care, it's not like there are people riding pocket bikes all over every street and every road. There is just the occasional "hoon" that likes to ride his bike on the roads. So in answer to your question, making a petition would be pointless and stupid.

Give the guys at Movement Systems a call, they organise regular meets and are forming a club.

What? Anyway yeh petition would be pointless, take what you have with that one track and organise more race meets and gather interest from locals. Don't bother with the government, I was involved in getting a park for young people with a skatepark and such built and they took a year to just start on the project with plans and such, then another year and a half before building (Jul 2007). Still waiting.....

Alright! Got me one of those Camel Honda lookalikes. Heres hoping I have more success than Biaggi or Bayliss did on it

Bring on the Movement Systems racing series! I have always liked looking at the pipes of other bikes....

Cheers,

Jimbo.

Drive around and look for places. University and school car parks are good (as they are free on the weekends and at night, mostly).
