Ive also seen this guy at the Dandenong track where he races against the Euro bikes and mixes it with them. He is a good rider, but that bike aint stock. |
Hi Madmatt,
Yes, the bike is very quick.
He is also a very good rider.
I did ask what if any mods have been done, his answer fell within the rules of class 3.
The gearing he is running is 7 / 68 as far as I know, and your gearing is 6 /68.
If you change your gearing you will find your bike will be much more competitive.
But there is always the rules.
Quote from the MMMCI rule booklet.
PROTEST: Protests will be issued at the end of the days proceedings. In a case where a rider protests against another rider’s bike, the protesting rider is to pay a fee of $50.00 to the clerk of the course. The accused rider is to also pay a fee of $50.00 to the clerk of the course. If the protest is found to be valid or if the accused refuses the bike in question to be checked by the technical director. The accused will forfeit any points gained on that day, lose the $50.00, which will be kept by the club and also play no further part in the days racing. The rider protesting will have their $50.00 refunded.
If the protest is dismissed: The protester will forfeit their $50.00. The accused will have their $50.00 refunded. And also be given $50.00 from the protesting rider for rebuilding work.
All rebuilding work will be complete by the bike owner in both cases.
