Racing at Port Melbourne Outdoor Track.

Hello to all members, affiliated clubs and pocket bike racers.
After months of hard work by The Melbourne Minimoto Club committee it’s finally here.
RACING AT PORT MELBOURNE OUTDOOR TRACK.
The committee has been working with The Australian Karting Association to allow pocket bikes to race on their tracks.
The MMMCI has with the help of their insurance broker received, an insurance policy that the AKA has accepted to allow pocket bike racing events to be run throughout ALL AKA tracks Australia wide.
This in short, with the acceptance of the individual Kart clubs allows racing anywhere the AKA has tracks.

If any new or existing clubs would like any help to join the MMMCI with creating an Australian Minimoto Association, we are more than happy to help them with any information they may require to get up and running under this insurance policy.
Please contact myself, Darren treasure@mmmci.com.au
Or Ray race_coordinator@mmmci.com.au for further details.
The MMMCI’s big picture is to create an association Australia wide that will allow minimoto racing for all.

For our first event we have racing at Port Melbourne, Victoria.
Date: 12th November 2006
All are welcomed.
The main details are:
Must have ambulance cover.
Must have one of these three:
1/ Private insurance, Or
2/ Medicare insurance, OR
3/ Club insurance by broker of the MMMCI.

You must be a member of the MMMCI or an affiliated club to enter.
This can be done by logging on to our website www.mmmci.com.au where you can download a membership form.
All rules are also available on the website.
You must complete entrant and indemnity forms, (fill in all paper work and post to the MMMCI) by 6th November.

Format of the day will be:

Gates open: 7.00am
Entrant and scrutineering: 7.30am to 8.55am
Riders briefing: 8.55am to 9.05 am
Practice: 9.15am to 12.00pm
Racing: 12.15pm to 5.00pm ish

Cost will be $45.00 for Sunday 12th November.
Or entry on the day will be $55.00 per entrant.
You may also be able to have a practice day on the Saturday 11th November this is to be advised.
So come along to the best track in Victoria and see what minimoto is all about.

Get together with more pb riders and form a club.
With the okay from your local Kart club, the insurance we have will be accepted.
The MMMCI is more than willing to help with information to get a Bendigo Minimoto Club going.

The MMMCI has been able to secure a practice session on Saturday 11th November at Port Melbourne; this is the day before the racing on the 12th November.
Be there at 4.15pm - 5.00pm for registration and scrutineering.
Practice: 5.00pm to dusk.
Cost: $15.00
All entrants to fill in application forum and indemnity form.
You must be a member or a member of an affiliated club to race or practice.
Bring Medicare or private insurance cards, membership card and ambulance cards to be verified before racing.
If you forget any of the above, you won't be allowed on the track or in the pits.
