Rules for 2007

Hello all members and riders of all clubs.

The Melbourne Minimoto Club is suggesting to revise the rules for next year.
The proposals will be discussed with all affiliate clubs and any new clubs who would like to uniform the rules for Minimoto Australia wide.
At the moment there is a mix of rules Australia wide.
We would like to create a set of rules that can be used Australia wide so riders of any club in any state can race anywhere and fit into a class of racing without changeing their bike.
We would hope that each club could please have some input into these rules if they would like.

When these are agreed upon the amendments will be available on www.mmmci.com.au website.

Affiliate clubs are encouraged to do the same for there club and financial members.

The concept is to have a blanket of rules that suite all clubs, then each club will use the rules that suite them demographically.

This will help when someone wants to race interstate with an affiliated club.

1. Proposed rules - with affiliate clubs

2. Each club to put forward to financial members to have input.

3. Rule changes to be implemented when agreed upon.

NOTE: All Financial members are encouraged to have input regarding rule changes for next year.

If anyone has any constructive input, please post up.

just my thoughts:

maybe there should be another class for 'hybrid' bikes such as, for example, watercooled r1's i know there are not very big in Vic yet, but in S.A they apparently have special classes just for w/c r1's... just my thoughts anyway.
