The MMMCI is sorting the problem out a s soon as the quote comes back from Transwest.
We hope to have all issuses sorted out soon.
The next and now first practice / race meeting should be held on 31st May & 1st June.
We all were very, very disappointed with the cancellation.

Got the insurance quote back yesterday.
It is 5 x more expensive than the MMMCI is paying now.
So a general meeting will be called soon to see which way the club wants to go.
Whatever happens, it will require all riders,(if we take up the Transwest insurance), to become full members of the MMMCI to be able to ride at Haddon Park.
The cost to become a member to be able to ride at any AKA tracks will be around $160 to $180,(currently membership is $60.00), no cheap one of ride days anymore at AKA tracks.
Plus usual track fees on the day.
So it will be up to the members to vote on which way we are to go.
But, if you look at it, it is still cheap racing compared to any other form of motor sport.
More info after the general meeting is called and voted on.

If other clubs are already covered by Transwest and have been AKA aproved would they still need to join mmic?

Daz thats loose change compared to Karting clubs. I used to pay over $700 a year to be a member at VGKA.
