rc car swap

Hay, theres a big rc car track opened up a stones throw away from my house - i want to get into racing them but they only run electric classes really.

i get my nitro fix from my 2 nitro monster trucks and truggys so yeah i can afford to loose a 3rd nitro.

looking to out right trade my supercharged BV-1 for an electric tourer. type im not tooo fussed about. but as long as it isnt a totally budget tamiya or something - must be raceable.

heres some pics of it.

specs

- OS .15 engine barely used (used the car about 10 times in total for maybe 5 minutes a shot - broken in by one of the guys at the track)
- venom speed meter
- two speed gear hop up installed
- the upgraded base plate is installed
- upgraded exhaust thats been ported by myself
- 2x spektrum servos (upgraded from the stock ones)
- the RB innovations supercharger with the huge air filter (yes it is a wank :P)
- upgraded 7 cell nimh pack from a REVO
- jaco nitro shoes
- also has a pair of super bright blue LEDS on the front we used when i was doing night dragging on the new windsor/richmond highway with it. can be ripped off as there a bit of a wank for racing haha.

not hoping for much but thought its worth asking anyway!

if you part it out i will be interested, as my hpi rs4 needs a new engine, servos, exhaust and that venom speed meter looks nice.

did you see any gains with the supercharger? because i heard that they just lean your engine out like a bitc* and doesnt even give it an encrease in power.
cheers

how much are you looking to fork out for said items? my mate offered me a new CYCLONE-S but he doesnt want to trade so could be interested.

the supercharger is a waste true and true. its not that its a bad concept more its a poor effort. the impellor is too far away from the case and it literally spins the wrong way so it doesnt pressurise anything. i made a custom overdrive pulley to make is spin even faster (epic whine which i love) but still doesnt work well. its just a talking point at the track if anything.

BUT it has basically stopped the need to tune the engine. once its tuned it seems to stay tuned with the S/c which is great.

i just realised the engine has a slide carb, whereas my car needs a rotary carb
