Refer to the title.

Now on a serious note. Does anyone know what I need to do to fix this ? Should I just buy another one or do I just continue doing as I have done in the video ?

The drill is actually brand new and hadn't been used. It's just been sitting in a shed for many years so warranty repair / replacement isn't an option.

This is a typical fault when the start capacitors fail. They are one or two tubular items that look like batteries. They store voltage so that when U push the button a larger curent is discharged to get the motor moving quicker.

The caps are about $12 to $25 to buy new. BE WARNED they store electricity and will discharge and give you a nasty shock or DEATH if you touch their terminals. Best to take the motor to a electrician to get it fixed.
