Hey Guys...Newbie...what bike?

I have just bought a cheap bike off e-bay and am keen to get it going a bit faster. It was one of these...

I am not planning on racing it but am keen to get it going a bit faster. My mate bought a similar one with all the decals already on it and it looks just the same except for a K&N type filter and slightly different exhaust and his goes heaps better than mine. His seems to have a power band.


What are some simple mods and what type of bike do i have? Is it a CAG?

Any help would be awesome!!

Hey mate,

its a diablo cag. cags are cheap aircooled chinese bikes

Have you finished running your engine in? is your mates engine runned in?

mods you should consider
reeds; fiberglass or tripple staging
head kit with full circle crank; check ozminimoto.com.au bout $70
carby; delorto rep or walbro rep
exhaust; jetpro or fatboy. frame might need modifying for those
clutch; better springs atleast
advanced timing key
sprockets
ngk race spark plug
wheel bearings

and if he's still kicking your arse its because he's riding a watercooled bike so upgrading to w/c would probably just be cheaper

Cheers grayzwun. I read the "how to tell if you have a 40cc or 49cc" thread and am pretty sure mine is a 40cc and his is a 49cc. Does the head kit increase the capacity to 50cc? And can i still run the upgraded carby with the 40cc or does it overfuel? Cheers for the help!!

i have baught a diablo pocket bike and they exactly the same as the samurai bikes, just with a different name. (i bought from the same seller you did and i also recieved extra items which had the samurai logo on them). They are good bikes when modded

they are all good bikes when modified.All depends on what you are going to do with it.Race it or muck around the yard.
