I got one anyway for my first road bike highly reccomended for a good powerfull learner's bike trust me they rip cbr 250's to shred's..
CBR250's are way over rated anyway! There all noise and no go!!

NEVER EVER buy a bike from Sumoto in Melbourne....

If you're curious as to why, click the link i posted above and do a search on Sumoto...

hell, any 2 smoker 250cc would just beat a 4 stroke 250cc...

Wether it be RGV, NSR, YZ, RS....

Just the 4 stroke are 50x more reliable...

Nothing fun about a 2 stroke road bike.... If you want it to perform you have to be constantly in powerband, constantly shifting gears, constantly re-building them, have the hassle of filling up the oil RES, having to carry around a small bottle of oil for just incases... The list can go on forever...

Don't get me wrong 2 stroke road bikes are ok I guess... (hell my missus owns a NSR 250..)

But after the countless storys i've heard about them and seeing it first hand, I would suggest a 4 stroke any day of the week...

haha just got through reading all the sumoto threads, what a pisser.

to be honest id be very wary of a 2nd hand 250, with the gearbox being ground up, dropped etc, is it really worth just getting a newy and selling it off? the retail value seems to be pretty good on alot of them.

going down the rta for me bike liscense tommorow, wish me luck
