The G260RC's are a very good reliable engine there buddy. They are a small upgrade from the G230RC but aren't much quicker. Main differences being the 26's have slightly lower compression and a bigger bore. With a muffler they make okayish low end grunt, good mid range and can feel a bit strangled in the top. Stick a pipe on them and holy hell the world is coming to an end as they end up developing huge mid range and a strong top end.

Be warned though. Cops will pull you up on a goped and charge you for all the same stuff as if you were riding a pocket bike on the street so be careful. For transport keeping it low powered is not a bad option as fedarali are more likely to turn a blind eye especially if it's quiet.
*edit* I just noticed your in the USA so you shouldn't need to worry about that.

To make these quiet you'll need an effective muffler and intake resonator box as even if you shut the exhaust up they make tons of noise from the inlet tract being a piston port motor. They make a loud TACK TACK TACK TACK noise at idle and BRAWWWWWWWW when you get up them.

I used to use a G26RC in RC cars and have built a couple of high powered examples of the Zenoah as well.

If you want more performance if your a heavy lad then defintely consider a larger displacement CY engine instead. CY engines are just the chinese copy of a Zenoah. Many parts are interchangable and are much cheaper. They can't be too bad because FG often use CY engine's in their RC cars when supplies of Zenoahs run short.

Thanks for the info Crash

It was REALLY HELPFULL

I ordered it from Dave's Motors and its coming this Monday

How would you recommend I break it in?

Would I break it in like a pocket bike?

25:1.....4-5 Tanks of gas? (my goped has a 1 liter gas tank)

I was reading up on these engines

they recommend 91 oct + higher

Also a High perform nonsyth oil to break in the engine
then syth after its break-ined

For My cag I used a TCW-3 2cycle oil

Would the TCW-3 2cycle oil be ok to break-in my G260RC motor? or would you recommend a diffient oil?

Thanks again Crash
