Hey thanks man I can't wait to get it. I'm just wondering, are most pocket bikes only single geared or do the better more expensive ones have gears? The one i've bought is only 49cc and will only go about 60km... Is there much of a pocket bike scene in canberra? I've never heard anything...

Cheers again... Ev...

All pocket bikes run a centrifugal clutch, suppose that could sound complicated for a beginner so consider it an automatic single-gear bike. Haven't heard much from Canberra at all unfortunatly, as Tz said someone will know. Good luck with your new bike, they require a lot of maintenance and small modifications to get them running smooth and reliable so I hope you've got the commitment

Edit: Turns out there was once a club in ACT but it seems to have shut down. Here's the link to the ACT rider's page anyway. You can read all about your local riders and such there.

The bike i've bought is a 2007 model Diablo "Pocket bike".... Not sure what it is! All i know is that it's small and green and will hopefully be lots of fun!

Hey Evan, to race you need either a 2peice leather suit or a heavy duity meterial suit, eg joe rocket 2 peice suit, or a 1 peice leather suit, there is racing at wollonong starting in february. check out NSW Minimoto Club Inc :: Index for all the details you need
