Hello,
The 2008 series is looking to be a great event for us all, with around 10 to 15 riders showing interest from each state to compete in all three rounds.
That would mean around 30-45 extra riders to each individual meeting on top of the locals already coming to the event.
With three states confirming their interest and dates.
Round 1: March 22nd – 23rd 2008
Pro Dirt Short Track Motoplex
63 Colebard Street
Archerfield 4108
Queensland

Port Elliot Track
Brick Yard Road

South Australia
Round 3: September 13th – 14th 2008
The Melbourne Minimoto Club Inc
Port Melbourne Go-Kart Track

Port Melbourne
Victoria
There is a total of seven classes for both senior and juniors to enter, which all be recognized as part of The Australian Minimoto titles.
Some talk of having an under 10's class for all rounds is still open, if there is enough interest.
As discussed an under 10's class would be okay,(with a minimum of five riders) in class one and two for any young riders wishing to compete.
If numbers are large enough,(with a minimum of five riders) this could be worth while in the other classes except class three, five, six and seven under the current capacities and hp levels. If the under 10's wish to run in these classes, some hp and capacity rules would need to be put in place as to their safety. More on this if there is enough to field these classes.
Trophies will be presented for each round for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
With the final round being held at Port Melbourne, Victoria on the 13th – 14th September where the series trophies will be presented for the top three finishers.
Cost to enter at each of the rounds is to be decided by each track owner or club holding their event.
Event information:
All rounds will be held as a two day event.
Total format and information of the two day events is to be organized by the track owner or club well in advance to give the rides as much time as possible to organize travel and accommodation. Event information will be available as a download.
Membership to the track or club who is holding these events for interstaters is to be free.
Locals may have to pay for membership; this will be up to the track or club hosting the event.
All membership, indemnity and race day forms will to be available for download with each states information.
Refunds prior to the event are up to the organizer, no refunds once the riders briefing has been completed.
Practice and racing will continue regardless of rain or shine.
