Questions and Answers
Q: When is the cut off date to enter round 2 in South Australia?
A: It is 9th June 2008.
Q: Can I run my R1 Maxi type pocket bike?
A: There is no separate class allowed for the R1 Maxi type bikes but, if your bike conforms to the rules in any one class you may run the R1 Maxi type bike, eg: R1 Maxi type bike fitted with a Chinese water cooled engine may fit within the Classes 4 or 5, R1 Maxi type bike fitted with a European water cooled engine may fit within the Class 6. These are only examples, and final decision on which class your bike can run in will be up to the Race Director at each meeting.
Q: Can I use my MA license number as proof of my riding ability.
A: Yes.
Q: Can I use my tracks minimoto license number as proof of my riding ability?
A: Yes.
Q: The track where I ride at doesn't have a license, what do I do?
A: Ask the track management where you ride to write up a letter of competence for you. Place a copy of this letter in the envelope with your entrant form as proof. Barry at Prodirt has offered to write up this letter for the Archerfield riders.
Q: Am I required to show proof of my documents?
A: Yes, send a copy of your license or letter of competence and also a copy of your ambulance subscription in with your entrant form, or bring it on the day when you arrive.
Q: How do I know my bike is under 94db?
A: Most, if not all European made pocket bikes will pass the test, as they already comply with tight European standards. Chinese bikes will be required to have well packed muffles or a European low db muffler fitted.

G'day darren. Seriously considering entering w/c elite, but a couple of issues.

1. Tasmania has statewide government ambulance cover (no need for private coverage). ie everybody in tasmania is covered for ambulance. What do i do?

2. Any minimoto riding down here is done under MA. How do i get an AMMA licence?

Q1. Tasmania has statewide government ambulance cover (no need for private coverage). ie everybody in tasmania is covered for ambulance. What do i do?
A1: If you have ambulance cover being a Tasmanian, then just send a copy of your car/motor bike license showing you are a resident of Tassie, then just make a short note stating that all Tasmanians are already covered with ambulance when living within Tasmania.

Q2. Any minimoto riding down here is done under MA. How do i get an AMMA licence?
A2: If you have an MA license use the MA license number on your entry form, and send a copy of your MA license with the entry form.
To obtain a AMMA license you would be required to complete the test found on the last few pages of the handbooklet, and be watched by a club offical.

Pfffttt... Sif slow down for me... ..

But yours and Nicks were over 92db.. Yours was 94db and Nicks was 95db...

90% of the std W/C's to Elite W/C's, are on or above 92db's...And i'm sure A/C elites will be right up there somewhere...

I will be repacking mine to attempt to dull it down a bit... Am even thinking of wrapping a couple of layers of heat tape around the expansion chamber to try to get it quieter...

Thoughts anyone ??????
