The thing that suprised me was that, bikes ridden in packs actually become quieter, wether they are A/C or W/C

when the pulse is out of sync the noise will cancel each other out

they were looking into this for future use in trucks cars & other vehicles using speakers to play the same sound out of phase or opposite to the normal engine exhaust note to quieten louder vehicles

not much help for pocket bike riders tho

i found that with the 125 thumpsters slightly more packing & a piece of fly screen to hold it all together muffles them down by 1/2 without restricting

i have also seen the 4 stroke 50-90cc mufflers used on 2 stroke engines as well as one made from a oil filter

Hi to all
This one is mainly for the SA riders.
I have spoken to Jax today and they have given all the riders who have nominated for the tittles another ride night on Saturday 21/06/08 gates open at 5.30pm til 8.30pm. This would also be a good opportunity for all those riders who still have to finalize their entries with details pending such as Ambulance cover and waivers.

Great news, count me in for sure.
Havnt been there previously so this ride will be helpful to get to know the track.
Lets hope we can get heaps of riders there and make it a really good night.

19 riders in Elite watercooled seniors, this is going to be one awsome race.

Looks like the Senior elites and the motards are going to be a crowd pleaser,especially the elites as this would be a good representation of our best riders in the country.
