Sounds like you are right on BJ but it is hard to find marshals that will stand up and say they seen something wrong.
But thankyou to those that do help out when they can.

The weekend was awesome, a big turn out with around 160 riders, yes the rules werent inforced properly but most people had a good weekend of riding racing other people we havent raced before. i know i had an awesome time, even tho i was pushed into a tyre wall as well on purpose, and so was my brother...but in the end the dirty rider didnt come out on top.

how did the interstaters like the track?

stock bikes

Maybe ,the people who made the rules up for this series,go back to the drawing board and think of the classes, basic cag should be basic, not running pmt's for tyres and vee rubbers,i cound not make it down due to family ,but i have had a lot of people ring me up and complain about ,how it was run.
If these people that organised the rules for the classses had a good think about ,maybe the race meeting would of been good, and the people would of ,been happy.
This sought of stuff that went on down there, only puts a bad taste in peoples mouth about pocket bike racing.
Hopefully the organiser can get it right next time for the cag class.

we do need to remember that it is hard to organize such a large event aus wide and that some people that travel all that way may not be aware of some of the rules and it would be unfair to just turn them away after traveling all that way im sure the rules will be clear to every one now as i understand some of the concerns but we do well to remember that this is mini gp not MOTO GP
our sport is all about family fun and some good clean racing

thats my 2c i hope that the next event goes well for all interstate riders coming over we look very forward to it

Well said Ben you are correct this event has largly been organised by a small crew (from what i understand one person correct me if i am wrong). As i see it our country is largly split into smaller areas doing their own thing (ie each having their own rules) If this great sport is to go ahead we need some formal organisation (national). This will help standardis all rules and help make it a level playing field when and if we all come to play at the same time.
The rules for this event were put out approximatly three months ago every body has had time to read ask questions/ interprite them as they see fit.
The organiser when he put these rules out did ask for comment to which everyone had oppertunity to reply.
Cheers
Bryce

I don't remember seeing any pmt's on std cag bikes. And while 3rd place in snr std cag was taken out by a rider with vee rubber... sammy and chris still smoked them with zhongas.

use all of the rules!! std cags can be up to 51cc (without modification)... im guessing the bikes that were being lapped werent.
