Hi All,
This section has been set up for discussion with the up coming 4 -5 round of The Australian Minimoto series for 2008.
So far I have had interest with NSW, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and now Tasmania.
Most of these meetings will be held on Australian Karting Association tracks.
So the racing will be on very good surfaces.
Each state will organise a booklet for accomodation, freight details for your bike and equipment, where to eat, what to see, interesting things about the area you are visiting, race format for the two day events, what is avaliable on site and also what to bring.
Each round will be well organised, with either Saint Johns ambulance or a trained first aider on site for safety reasons.
Rules, classes etc are being discussed between each Organiser / Club at the moment and once agreed upon will be typed up into a handbooklet which will be avaliable as a download or in print form sent to your door.
Hopefully I have answered some of your questions, and as information becomes avaliable it will be place it on this site.

Darren, just visited a few of the local businesses which are very excited about the prospect of a national mini-bike series coming to town. Already have 7 entries in two classes (1 hours work so far).
Can you tell me how to sign up for your insurance? We are all very keen to get something set in stone as soon as possible so the event can be effectively publicised. How long does the process usually take?
I thought your handbook was very comprehensive, well thought out and overall very helpfull.
Can i ask any prospective competitors out there to have a guess at what their budgets for accomodation and travel are (rough idea is fine) so i can most effectively find the resources for competitors and put in information guides.
Cheers guys

Greeny,
Ring me tomorrow and I will help you out to get insurance working.
It usually takes about two weeks to get it through.
