6 months until the first round starts? gives me enough time to get a motor swap out done and get both bikes up to spec so we can enter them, are they keeping to the minimoto handbook rules ?

First round will more than likely be in March in QLD.
May 17th in NSW
July in S.A
September 13th & 14th in Vic
Tassie TBA
Main rules will be safety rules like in the NSW and Vic booklets.
Classes for the Australian Title being looked at are classes most states already run.
E.G. Open Cag
Open aircooled
Open Watercooled
Open motard, (capacity to be finalised).

The stock classes, i.e stock cag, stock chinese watercooled, maxi bikes, will probaly be run as support classes (no Australian Title points, but state points), to suit each round with each state running their own rules for those classes.

So no one will miss out with what ever bike they have, all will be welcomed to bring whatever they have and they will fit in one of the classes.

Well i will be packing a 70cc 4 stroke mid, and a 110cc 4 stroke mid since the rule book allows for the tyres to be 'open' we are being forced to move up from 9" to 10" (no one supplies 120x50x9 tyres in oz) ...

If maxi bikes are being run as a support class, do we get points or a shot at it? as we are willing to go the whole 5 rounds ...

Dazza

Just had a thought, if the compo is going to be non-profit, and if you have any video editing software, why not create a small advert for it and put it on TVS ? (channel 1 i think, free to air)... should get some exposure...

DO u need to run @ all of the events? Or can I just come along to the Vic one @ port melb and race? Traveling would be wicked fun but expensive as......

And I hope it is 125cc motard AND 140cc, that would be cool. Even though I dont have a 140 lol
