Forum Downtime

Hi guys,

Thanks for being so patient whilst we transferred the site to YET ANOTHER HOST. Despite paying a premium monthly fee for the last host, we still had serious issues with the site.

We've moved the site onto the most trusted host we know and are still paying a premium fee, but we value reliability and good service.

I'm sorry we had to take the site down without notice but the issues we have been experiencing with our previous host were out of our control until we moved it back today. In fact some of you would have noticed downtime we have had over the past few days and we're confident that downtime like this will be a thing of the past.

Once again, my apologies for the downtime and thank you for being so patient.

did we lose some post during the transfer ?? I posted a forsales post the day before (I think) the downtime and now it not there !!! ???

Not that I'm aware of mate, we have had some DNS issues with another site connected to this one where it makes the site load slowly for maybe 10 percent of people, but apart from that it's performing solidly on this new server.

We have a tech fixing the other site so it will be performing consistently for everyone.

Maybe there are still DNS issues with the site??? I'll have to inform the tech... Have you been able to access the site fine from your neighbour's internet connection/work/school???

Or is the site just taking longer to load from certain places?

Yeh weeks ago at me mates place i could get on ,But when i go home nothing.Just website cannot load!!!.I tried allsorts.But never mind its workin.Will let you when it does it again .OK
