Zocchi 3 shoe question

Because im slightly retarded i have stuffed one of the pads on my zochi 3 shoe in the banshee. When snugging it in (jamming it up with a screwdriver) a very thin bit of the top later has peeled off a bit on the front corner of the pad. Does anyone know whether it would be better to cut the little corner off or just leave it on. Im not sure what would be better to prevent it from peeling back further. The bit thats peeling is paper thin and probably only peeled 3 or 4 mms back. I need a camera eh?

cool a pic would be best
but id say just run a file over it back the opposite direction from the way it seems to be peeling ?

if it was a cag clutch id try some superglue LOL

Ha too late. Seems it was peeling cos i delaminated it. i was running it way too tight. after danny showed me how it should be adjusted at dandenong last night it ran well for a bit and then BAM, all the pads turned to shrapnel. Its one cooked goose. If anyone wants a 3 shoe zochi for a banshee (needs new shoes) pm me. im going back to 2 shoes (as danny advises).

any clutch will do that, my bzm 2 shoe ripped a shoe off after it was bedded in and all but touch wood its been good so far.

end of day they just dont slam on as hard as the 3 shoes, but there mega close and cheaper to re-shoe.

do yourself a favour and jam in some clutch weights (m8 grub screws) and wind the springs in till it engages at 8600rpm. HANG ON!

I had it goin rad a while back but when i changed the gearing all of a suddend i found it really difficult to get it to engage at the right revs. Im running the stock clutch now and its fine for the time being. It will be so much cheaper to put new shoes and springs in the stock clutch than re-shoe this one as well as being easier to corner (cos it doesnt kick as hard and i cant ride for shite) and tune so Im not sure i can be bothered fixing the 3 shoe. Its yours if you wanna buy it at a low low price
