the Nasty Management at Pooraka

Hi To all interested.
Firstly I say these are my own personal views.
NOW..... Where to start !
Right,It is of my opinion that the owner of Pooraka has in the past tried to spread rumors to try and stop the great sport of pocket bike racing from developing , { by developing I mean bikes racing at other tracks } To any one interested in my opinion and my opinion only, I say Please don`t listen to the information that they have concocted
This may sound like sour grapes but,As far as me ever going back to Pooraka that will never happen ,to Bruce and Co ,you will never see one cent of my racing dollar or any dollar ever again !!!!!!
Now why do i feel this way ?Well lets look at what you get for your dollar at Pooraka.
Lousy customer service.
Not open at the hours stated by them.
Threats of closure
Threats of being fined $50 for being late or wanting to protest, even though we only pay $27 to race !
When finally they do get paying customers at the track they often want to go home.
Inflated prices for parts
People smoking in the shop
People drinking alcohol in shop behind counter and serving customers
People drinking and swearing in front of children in the shop
No Qualified First Aid Officer
No ambulance volunteers on race days
Grumpy Steward who will only give 3 or 4 laps to smaller classes instead of the promised 10
No certificates given on certain classes with no explanation ,Sidecars !
Bad attitude from staff
Bad manners from staff and management
Points not accurate, and if they are wrong lack of willingness to correct them
Working on the track while staff sits inside watching Porno or playing computer games ! Bear in mind this was Volunteer work Free of charge !
Lack of motivation from some staff
Rumor spreading and gossiping
Poor Lighting
I could go on and on, with many more reasons why I will never go back to Pooraka, but, whats the use they just don`t care about my opinion, maybe just maybe, someone out their will care about my opinion and do the same thing I `m doing !

On the topic of POORAKA I would like to add these comments on some of their racing practices and these aren`t just my opinion they are other peoples opinions as well.1. we are minigp not speedway..stop this reverse grid crap it doesnt happen anywhere else in our sport.its not only annoying but dangerous.
2. A.P.B.A should take control of rules and meetings the tracks should only provide the venue not be involved in rules.
3.The fines should be abolished this also from my understanding is not anywhere else in the sport...its ok for you and me but what about a single parent that manages to scrape together $300 for a cag for there child then pays race fees...they cant pay fines..another money grab from Pooraka I think.

Hi rover, I agree totaly with your last post... especialy the one about the fines. I dont mind admiting I came from a poor back ground and only know to well how hard it would be for a single parent to pay fines. This I think would stop many people on a tight budget from joining the sport and espescialy single parents trying to do the right thing and give there child some enjoyment/quality of life.
If this offends anyone all I can say is Toughen the f*8k up, and i have plenty of 7 tooth pinions if you want to go this way..If you know what i mean.

Hi andy this fine for running late is news to me must have missed that memo
But in regards to fees for protesting this must be there as if it was not any one would protest over any little thing and it would be your cost to wear to put back together if they are wrong. If this is what you mean?

Hi xplosive racing, I agree totaly with you if the fines are for protesst on motors only... but I also got the impression that the was going to be fines for other things. But as this was not explained properly at the rider briefing we will have to wait and see... but my understanding was it is in the new rule book that was been writen, and would of thought as a commitee meber you would of had some involvment in this,
