mini bike builds

im new to this forum and am not sure that this is in the right thread.

but i live in SA and was wondering where i can get 50cc mini bike kits (all the parts) then you build the bike yourself. my bro bought a 50cc road mini bike for $300, he bought it from a guy who gets the kits, makes them and then sells them.

any help would be good.

also is it possible to put a 100cc engine on a 50cc bike.

it would be cheaper to pick up a full 49cc bike from ebay & a 50.177cc headkit , fatboy pipe & fiberglass reed
you would still have change from $300

as for the 100cc engine on a 50cc bike. are you talking 4 stroke here ??

anything is possible but the 49cc 2 stroke cag frames wouldnt handle the power or weight without alot of braces welded in the frame & 100 ccs is overkill if ya talking a lil full or half faring cag ? and alot of modifications to make things fit & line up

there are 70 cc 4 stroke pitbikes if your not after a full size 110-125
alot better build than the 49cc minidirt bikes so can take more punishment

49cc bikes only have spring suspension that wont last long & will bend or snap the frame if you are intending to fly any small jumps

nah i want a road looking mini bike, my bro has a samurai i think.

i love the fast looking one, and the ones which look way too small for an adult to ride.
