The Last Straw

Sorry Guys

but as all we've copped from locals is aggro and "are you doing this?" ... "are you doing that?" .. it's just no longer worth the effort. To date we've had more expressions of interest to enter from interstate than we have from locals. Whilst Gerry was prepared to run the weekend as revenue negative to try and promote this sport it can't be done purely based on interstate entries alone.

We have finally had enough of the b*tching, backstabbing and lack of support from SA locals. From this stage forward the Port Elliot Track is closed to pocket bikes other than those who have been regular customers or those who have purchased bikes from us. If the SA fraternity can ever see their way forward please approach us by email.

It took 2 years of lobbying, questioning and persuasion for Gerry to open the track to pocket bikes and after 5 months we're now wondering why?

Gerry and Jax

Gerry and Jax,

Every time I have been down to the Pits it has been nothing but funny had by all, there has been no arguing or hostility, and I am sure that when it all comes down to it people will apologize and get to racing, as it has happened in the past, everyone you see fighting loves this sport as much as I do, and want it to move on, please give us one more chance, and I am sure people will step up to the plate.

sorry to hear that mate.

The other WA riders and myself are going to be very dissappointed. This was to be our first interstate ride.

hopefully the adelaidians can pull themselves together and get this happening again.

Hi the Pits, I know you wanted me to call so we can see if we can get racing going. I now make this offer that I think we can get racing going and I believe we have the people and contacts to now do this. Iam very aware at why you are disappointed in the SA scene, as I have lived it for a while, but although I have expended a lot of time that was not really available to me on this site and other matters for the benefit of all, now am willing to even do more for the great people that deserve to enjoy this sport without the Bulls*it. If you feel you would like to consider looking at the racing again, then feel free to contact me, as we have always done (and on a very friendly basis to) I ask that you contact me though with any interest and would like to make you aware that I will be only discussing realistic options that can make this happen, and do not wish to be involved if certain elements that the vast majority complain privately about are involved.

All Iam looking for is for you to post under here a 'yes you want to be involved and race", nothing more as the is no longer any political cr*p going to be dragged into this sport if I can help it.

Hi robbie I cant say what will be happenig at present as I have only just now started to try and pick up the ball and see if I can help and salvage the scene here in S.A. I am currently taking and making numerus phone calls here and from interstate to try and get things moving again. I really need as will other partys concerned need a idea of the intrest that is still left in S.A before much can move forward.

G'day guys..

havent Said to much for awhile but im always on here having abit of a look and keeping up with whats going on..
I really cant beleive this..?
Everyone is here to do the same thing And have fun, But it keeps coming to this.
When you consider Pocketbike Racing isnt anywhere as big as some other Sports,Theres probably more bitching in Pocketbikes then there is in Footy..!!

I never got to ride at the Pits track, Tried to many times but never made it down there.. When I saw the post on State Titles I said to myself Im going to get my bike organised and get back out there and get some track time.

Its a real shame that its come to this.

Best Regards Blair,

Ive got a good idea everyone! What dont you all come down and race in Victoria! At two great tracks, South Morang and Port Melbourne! We could use some extra competitors allowing the club to grow and grow!
Cheers
