Pocket Bikes in SA

There is nothing personally aimed at anyone within the following statement but Gerry does feel the sport does need to move forward if it is going to survive let alone thrive in SA:

Whilst I appreciate past tensions at some stage things have to stop.

It's become apparent there are still politics playing behind the scenes here in SA.

If you want to race, then race and accept the fact it should be done properly. It's now at a stage of leave the backdoor politics and "BS" out of the racing circle.

I would love to see the sport move forward, I would love to see them get to race but it's a bit hard to see it move forward while a percentage of you still appear to be trying to stab the guy behind you in the back.

These forums need to convince me that they are prepared to promote pocket bike/minimoto racing in Australia before Friday or the Pits Track will simply be available to friends and purchasers.

Reply by email to info@pits.com.au to those who are prepared to commit to class and entry numbers as per AMMA rules or this just won't happen.

If you are prepared to commit to a 2 day State Title meeting at the Pits in November email us back, but if the BS continues and we don't receive sufficient replies from SA based riders racing will not happen.

I am prepared to accept that by promoting a minimoto state title on the last weekend in November it will cost me finacially compared with being open for normal kart hire. The financial costs I accept, the carry on and bickering I have had enough of.

Either the minimoto fraternity joins together or it just won't happen.

At the end of the day guys stop the cr*p or it just won't happen.

To those interested in moving this sport forward please reply directly by email to info@pits.com.au

Gerry

Dazza is an unknown quantity at this point
There are at least 10 riders coming from Victoria for this race, maybe more.
So SA, band together and get this happening.
Even if we just come to kick ass. LOL

i know u guys are gettin it sorted but cost is important and also we use hirtes insurance i think like everyone else. do we use this or yours and what is the possible day licence fee if neither is possible. i am no insurance expert but our ins. may only cover WA. waiver forms and registration forms so we can register our race no.s or do we for example just run a WA after the no. on our no. board.

Hi Ringo

The APBA has emailed the pitts track to discuss these issues. As soon as they are sorted all the info will be available. I do believe that hirtes is going to be the common insurer. But untill all is sorted on the logistics side it will be hard for anyone to confirm that. Once discussed we can contact hirtes and get their evaluation. As yet we dont know if the pitts is the insured party or if the APBA will co host and run their insurer. As soon as we know i will send you an email

regards
Dave
