Hey Junior you are right,I nearly forgot about that one.Dam steering on those sidecars can be tricky in the wet, also forgot about Bens crash too. He had a beauty with a complete roll over and the bike riding him for a bit ;LOL
I will be going again next Saturday Junior if you are interested I might have room for one more Bike and rider.
Sorry, can't do next week - and we'll probably not be around much until after Christmas now but we might try and do some Tues night stuff where possible. (The Monkey and I sail pretty seriously, and we have World Championships coming up.)
I'll mention this one the other forum (Adelaide Minimoto Chat/Forum) under sidecars, but if we could get numbers together on the Tues nights etc (whenever a track is free) there wouldn't be much stopping us from having an informal 'Sidecar League' - (mars bars and chocolate frogs for the winners).

The Pits Crew would like to thank you for the entertainment you and Monkey provided Saturday night, but we feel a slight return to the truth of the incident might be a good idea. From our recollection Rider attempted to turn right into the pits, Monkey attempted to hang left to turn down the straight.... Result=bike+Rider+Monkey colliding with tyre. Monkey decided it best to cover Monkey's own rear and escape potential wrath of Rider by choosing to vault the fence at the earliest convenience... ie whilst Rider and bike were coming to an arrangement with aforementioned tyre.

PS.. f*** it was funny... Gerry and the crew are still laughing

Hi everyone 19/08/07
Morning after another fantastic night of riding at the Pt Elliot track. Once again a warm Thanks to Gerald,Jax, Donkey and staff, sorry I didn't get the other fellows name.
It was great to see lots of new faces at the Pt Elliot track last night and hope we will see them on this site too! The weather was perfect last night [dry track] for some fast and furious riding .My DOAS wasn't running the best ,just put on 19mm carby on and it still needs a bit of TLC to get it right[will use the Irish screwdriver on it later ] I did however manage to get a couple of laps out of it and when it all comes together will be a fast little bike.
Ronin had his Blata Wrs out on the track last night and it was going at least a million miles per hour ,well thats the feeling you get riding one of these little rockets as I found out when he trusted me by letting me take it for a ride.I was totally overwhelmed by the amount of HP the WRS has and was amazed when it pulled a mono going down the main straight at full throttle. These bikes handle well too on the demanding Pt Elliot track ,taking most of the corners with ease and on one wheel most of the time coming out of the corner giving the rider that feeling of falling on to the right line to exit the corner.
I also had a pretty good session on Brandons "R", all I can really say about that ,is that I absolutely love it and that Brandon timed me doing a 33 second lap .
It was great to see that Gerald had found the footage on his security camera in regards to the RnR sidecar crash ,the one that happened last week, when the "monkey" went over the fence. From viewing the footage theres no doubt that "monkey"bailed before the tyres :lol.
Gerald has given AM Admin a copy of this event for those wanting a laugh. To the RnR boys I say don't feel too bad getting caught on tape as my stupidity also got recorded on the same corner last night. Here's what happened [my version] Came in after a long and tiring couple of laps, slowed down to stop ,brain failure, forgot to put legs out,OOoops!Apparently Gerald has given AM Admin a copy of this too !
Just a quick point before I sign off ,I have been calling the banked corner at the Pt Elliot track the "Fruit Bowl" and after talking to Jax have found out that it is actually called "The Thunder Dome" a name more fitting the description of this corner.
Any way thats my rough account of last night's events and there was actually a lot of other things that occurred but to find out for yourselves you will have to get down to the Pt Elliot track . Happy Trails everyone Rover
Hi rover is was great to see you ride the WRS, as you were riding it down the straight next to where me and Brandon where standing I could hear some laughing and asked Brandon who it was. Then we realized it was you enjoying the ride. I know Brandon loved it and Ryan as well, because you all did the same thing when you came back into the pit.....Shake your heads LOL.

Hi to all
Another superb night had by everyone at the Pt Elliot track.I would like to thank everyone at the track for their part in making it a great night. Also I must mention that poor Josh missed out on getting his name in the last post because I referred to him as the "other guy, who's name I didn't get". Well in this post Josh ,we all here at Adelaide Minimoto will try to make it up to you with our personal thanks for the mighty fine job you do ! ;lol
The weather last night was absolutely perfect no rain and a cool night. There was a great turn out too,the carpark as Jax has pointed out was nearly full. Grin
The one person I had been waiting for to come back to the Pt Elliot track was OFF TAP Racing (with his MPE A/C Elite). The reason for this was that I was hoping to give his bike a bit of a run on the "R" ,but as luck was not on our side this was short lived with the Mpe A/C flying for a couple of laps and then seizing . Ouch! I'm sure that Graham and Brian will get it sorted out once they finish crying.
My riding last night wasn't the best any way with me having two crashes last night. The first one on DOAS ,that was minor with slight damage to the riders posterior ,but the second was a bit more serious on the same corner but on the "R".Again even more damage to riders posterior (same spot) and doing a bit of damage to the fairings.I had to drive home on one cheek:lol
It was good to see our red sidecar going around the track and that it still was quite fast too.Young Damien had a go as a swinger and for his first time did a fantastic job at swinging.I think there could be another sidecar team in the making there Jax !
It was good to see the younger riders out on the track and I must add that all of them looked very professional with their leathers and safety equipment being well and truly up to scratch ! Not only did they look good but they all can ride well too !
Once again it was a awesome night and I really don't think that you could ever have a terrible time at the Pt Elliot Track.

Firstly A big happy Fathers Day to all those Pocket bike Dads out there !
Now to all that haven't heard yet there has been some great news with regards to the Pt Elliot track.THEY ARE STAYING OPEN TO POCKET BIKES AND GO KART HIRES START AGAIN TODAY !!!!! YIPPEEEE Grin
I would like to congratulate Gerry and Jax for their persistence and patients in their efforts to keep this track open Grin
Last night was again another perfect night ,a cold and clear sky night. The bikes where once again running hard with that cold crisp air helping the performance even more .
Ryan was keen to show of his new creation at the track (a new sticker job on the Banshee) and I must admit his bike really is looking great. I'm sure that Brian his sponsor will like it too. The Banshee was running super fast last night and I timed Ryan doing a lap time of 30.2 secs .not too shabby at all.
We had the "R" out to play and as usual it performed faultlessly. This is one fast bike and to anyone that thinks Water cooled bikes are faster ....have a look at the "R". Brandon can keep up with many of the other Euro bikes on his Blata "R".
The CRT race team boys were at the track too yesterday, and I found out what CRT stands for (Crash Racing Team) lol
The Boys weren't having much luck with their bikes. One of them with a cracked engine mount and the other having what appeared to be fuel problems, which as a result of this was how many laps would he get before it conked out much to the amusement of Donkey and the other Track Marshals . I think after a lot of spanner turning and swearing the CRT boys made an executive decision to head off to the pub for a few cleansing ales LOL.
Thanks to everyone at the track last night for another fun and safe night of riding,we all look forward to many more.
