Rules

Race Direction.

All direction choices will be decided by coin toss.

The direction in which the 1st Race will be run will be decided by the toss of a coin.

At the coin toss there will be representatives of all classes except Motard

The 2nd Race will be run in the reverse direction to the 1st Race. ie. If the 1st race is run clockwise then the 2nd race will be run anti-clockwise. ( direction is at the descresion of the track operator ensuring safety first)

The Final races (in a 3 race set-up) will also be decided by another SINGLE coin toss.

At the coin toss there will be representatives of all classes except Motard.

In a 4-race set-up the 3rd race will be run in the same direction as the 1st race and the 4th race will be run in the same direction as the 2nd race.

Grid Positions

Grid Positions as described in Race Format.

A Lottery may be held to determine grid positions for the 1st race.

Starts

Starts will be from a standing position with all bikes positioned on the marks placed on the track.

The Starter will then wave the GREEN flag to show that the race has started.

Exception being sidecars that may opt for a rolling start, rolling to the start line after one only warm up and group up lap. Riders to enter the track in their grid position to facilitate a quick start. If sidecars are not grouped up or in the wrong position the race can be started at the discression of the starter

Last Lap Board.

With 1 Lap left to complete by the leading competitor, a LAST LAP sign will be shown to all following competitors.

End Of Race – Chequered Flag.

At the completion of the Last Lap, the Chequered Flag will be shown to the lead rider and all following riders.

Riders will be deemed to have finished racing once they have been shown the Chequered Flag and passed over the Start/Finish Line.

With all competitors maintaining position throughout the warm down lap.

The finish of the event occurs when the flag is displayed to the last competitor

The finish occurs for each machine when the foremost part of the machine crosses the line.

Competitors must not continue racing once they have passed the Chequered flag at the start finish line as this practice is dangerous to themselves and to other competitors.

Riders continuing to race once the passed the Chequered flag will be initially warned of this behaviour and subsequent behaviour may incur penalties.

Dead Heats

In case of a dead heat between competitors for a place:

The participants in the dead heat will share the places, awards and points equally.

The number of participants in the dead heat will relegate the remaining places.

Class Racing Viability.

The aim within the club is to improve numbers in all classes by getting the competitors help to make there own classes larger.

A class will be declared viable when there are 3 confirmed competitors at regular meetings.

If there are riders and bikes but no confirmed class those riders may be included in another class of similar type and/or style with out reward.

After one month, the category maybe stopped until there are a confirmed number of starters in that category or a decision maybe taken by the organising committee to continue the class or category.

If sufficient entries are received in any Senior class on the day, the organisers may, at their discretion split the field by rider weight into Light and Heavy classes.

If sufficient entries are received in any Junior Class on the day, the organisers may, at their discretion, split the field by age categories, 7 to 11 years and 12 to 15 years or may separate riders by experience.

Trophies.

Trophies/Certificates will only be awarded to 1st and 2nd in the event of only 3 competitors.

3rd place will only be awarded a when there are 4 or more entrants to a class. Also on completion of a minimum of 2 of the 4 races and in a 3 race format it will be 2 out of 3 completed

If a racer does not show up for the dummy grid, the racer must wait in the designated area until instructed to enter the racetrack area and then follow the direction of the racetrack officials.

(a) If the dummy grided bikes have concluded the warm-up lap, but are still to be placed into the Starting Grid Positions, late arriving bikes may be directed to their start grid positions without the warm-up lap.

Sure do,

It's little things that bring ppl back each week, and if your strugling for No. in a certain class why not award that person for puttin in the time to race even though he came last..

He pays his fees just like everyone else , which go to paying for the trophys or certificate...

But that's just me...

Im guessing as long as its a non profit organization they shouldn't have a problem with handing out vouchers. I would start by calling up the head office then ask to speak to someone in promotions.
