| after a bit of piss farting around and plenty of swear words i finally got it all back together and lifted the jet and cleaned out the carby, checked the plug.
also drilled out the brakes so they r true floating brakes and so they dont rub against the disc. also re tensioned the chain and now its hooking along. still not quite as quick off the line as it was (i think) but really peaks out now and gets moving along.
dunno which 1 exactly made the difference but im sure it all helped. thanx
