gasket sealer woes..

Heres a question.

im trying to find a decent gasket sealer and all the ones ive tried so far have failed pretty epic.

ive only used the blue hylomar, some semtex aviation gasket sealer and RTV silicone.

the RTV isnt useful anywhere in the engine because it just flaked off on contact with petrol pretty well instantly and broke off in big chunks, so i was a little worried about it chewing the engine bearings.

the Hylomar and semtex are excellent for the inlets ive found and on the crankcase halves, they sstay in tact and all.

BUT the problem im having is on the base gaskets. im using a special polini cylinder with the water journals all the way through the cylinder like a blata that i cant plug up and the water / petrol together is just dissolving everything i put on there. the hylomar and semtex just peels off like it wasnt even there to begin with.. and after about a week i can see a teeny bit of atomized fuel/water ooze out the base around the water journal.

any recommendations for a water and petrol safe sealant?
