with a full polini setup and the one youve got they should be pretty close for straight out horsepower (unmodified). the polini gives the impression that is has alot more power because it seems to have alot better low end and its very "peaky"
but the BZM provides alot of power everywhere (less bottom end i think) and its smoother (it physically seems to vibrate alot less and has a more level powerband).
the 6 port seems to just effortlessly haul you up to top speed where as the polini wants to just throw you around and try kill you
only two polinis ive tried have been seriously tinkered with in the ports and my 6 port is a hybrid so maybe the comparison is a bit skewed but thats how i see it.
im still undecided on what motor ill go with in my next euro. i would have taken the bzm hands down a few months ago but now im not too sure.. the polinis are a surprise honestly. there a heck of a lot cheaper in any case and provide 90% the same performance if not more. gotta remember the top of the line polini motor is around $1200 and the top of the line bzm is almost $2500.
but the bzm is a better design and would be more reliable in the long run im sure. definitely better cooling and the bolt pattern is better. just have to consider whether the extra horsepower or two is really worth the extra $1000 in the long run
in any case youll have a heap of fun with the 6 port. it definitely makes the bike feel like less of a toy and much more of a killer

i always get off both of mine laughing a bit because the power is just so rediculous for such tiny bikes.
