| Walbro Tuning
Can someone confirm the initial settings for a Walbro carb? Does the idle screw really need to be wound all the way (clockwise) before then adjusting the L screw? My bike idles VERY high once started and i can't seem to get the idle lower with the L screw.
I can get it idling lower by unscrewing the idle screw so the tip is only just holding the throttle lever and with the L and H screws at initial settings (L - 1.75 screws out, H - 2 screws out).
Any guidance appreciated!
edit, btw the carb has been cleaned completely and reassembled perfectly on the manifold (no leaks) and the purge hole is not obstructed. |
