| I once had a dell rep carb on a 49cc with a fatboy exhaust and triple stage reeds and the performance was crap.So i changed the dell rep with my standard carb and it was so much better.
At the top of the dell rep carb under the black part there is a gasket that rotted away within 3 weeks from brand new and was sucking air so i got rid of the silly thing.
I tried to get a new gasket for it but no one could help me,also no one could help me out with any jets for the dell rep carb and couldnt find anywhere to buy them.
On my 49cc there is a bar part of the frame that is right behind the rear wheel so there is no room for a dome/pod airfilter.I dont know about the stockings,wouldnt it be easier for dirt to get in and stuff my carb?
As i am going to sell it i think it would look a bit dodgy having a old stocking wrapped around the carb.
