| try and get a watercooled bike. It is worth saving that extra bit of cash ($350-$450) to get a quick, relatively reliable bike. It can be good to buy a second hand one off somebody that knows what they are doing because it will most likely be set up properly, have the little rinkles ironed out and may come with a few spares. Plus you can probably watch it go before buying it, or talk to people who have seen it go. This is a great place to look, and get down to your local track for a look and see what everyone else is riding, and winning on.
