Had trouble with cops and scooters?

I have a 200 watt electric scooter and i'm wondering what the police do when they see you on one?

If everytime i ride a LEGAL scooter i will get pulled over, it will ruin my day!

If the scooter was say 250-300 watts, what would they check on the scooter to see if its legal? A label on the motor would be good enough?

There is no compliance available and most companies don't mark the bikes stating this power being 200 watts

Thanks
Adrian
