you could use a single flywheel to fire both ignitions by putting a coil at 180 degrees opposite to the original coil. The trick is ensuring that the cranks are at 180 degrees to each other. You would need to make a coupler for the two crankshafts where they meet in the middle with keyways ooposite each other.
