but cheers for the comments and insight. the self ventilated bell is on the list as well after the flywheel and coil.
tried to take the bike to indy on thursday to thrash it but got rained out
so plans are off till next month. gives me time to get my leathers though! riding in overalls on this is too scary..
but having a play around with it up the park was fun. i chased a guy on a CR80 dirt bike any wasnt far off at all. brakes are great.. when i get the genuine pads ill be cheering.
footpegs are a nightmare. and this is some advice to anyone who has these pegs. the threads in them are just plastic and strip out straight away + fall off. what you need to do is heat up a nut to cherry red - push it into the footpeg and bolt it on with loctite - then screw in a pair of self tappers for security.
also cant seem to work out where the random drops of coolant where from - so i removed the entire radiator setup - replaced the stuffed overflow bottle cap with a new one, tightened up the hose on the overflow bottle that was nearly off and ill see tommorow if this fixes it ... hoping to god it does.
