I think as it stands now is the best way, there is no way you can please everyone.
most clubs cater for most spec of bike so the sport is cheap at club level.
this is supposed to be a national championship series. so yes the cost if you want to challenge for the title will be higher, and the competition will be tougher. this is the same in any sport when you get to national level over club
there is no point setting up a event in four different states with a class for every possible spec of bike to only have a couple of riders on the grid for each class,
what next!!!! give everyone who enters a 1st place trophie and they can go home happy and call themselves the Australian champion of class 34, stock air-cooled 39.151/2 cc with red fairings and blue grips.
not everyone is going to win. im sure whatever class peoples bikes qualifies for there will be someone of similar speed to battle with.
lets just get out there and enjoy the races, meet new people from other clubs and help push the sport forward
