Thats because the a/c's running temp is much brooder. I had heat wrap on my SQ, after 2 laps of Archerfeild it would bog down. Its because the heat wrap keeps the pipe hot. You want the pipe to cool the air down so it can decrease its mass sucking more air out.but you need some back pressure so it doesn't suck the fuel and air mixture out with it.Correct me if I'm wrong
