RaZz0R
g'day mate.

Firstly I have replied to your post about a race bike I am sure mine would go to a good owner as I am a little too big to race the aircooleds.

ok - since you came to the right place here is the low down.

Queensland do have a race club going and they do have set class rules... its huge so I'll post it under there.

For your buget and what not - aircooled would be the way to go and with my bike that I am offering you - you won't have to do anything to it as its got everything already!! (The other classes will mean thousands - go aircooled for the first race seasion and then upgrade if you want)

Saftey gear is a HUGE issue!! Always wear a helmet & saftey gear - skin loss hurts!!!

Here is the QLD racing rules - read them and post or pm me if you got questions - Enjoy!!

The following Rules of racing are applicable to both Archerfield and Parklands for the 2006 Season. My bike that I am offering to sell fits in to class 4 ""4. PRO CHINESE AIRCOOLED (Junior and Senior) ""

The starter is also responsible for grid the bikes on the start grid and using appropriate flags during the course of each race. The Starter is also responsible for ensuring all riders about to race are wearing all correct safety equipment.

The technical inspector reports to the Clerk of Course and is responsible for ensuring that all machines are prepared properly and in accordance with Class Specifications.

RACE RULES AND PROCEDURES

1. Crew and family members are not allowed on the racetrack for any purpose; qualified, official race personnel will attend to racers needing medical attention. A Race Official only when deemed necessary will call family members to aid.

2. All races will run rain or shine unless the track is impassable or unsafe as determined by the Clerk of Course.

3. All travel on the racetrack and pit lane will be one-way, in one direction. Racers must not travel backwards on the racetrack unless instructed by race officials.

4. Any racer who runs off the track must re-enter the course safely and without attempting to cut the course unless instructed to do so by an official or corner worker. If a racer shortcuts the course, he/she must wait and re-enter the track in a position where no race advantage has been gained.

5. Weaving at any time to break a draft or prevent a pass, reckless weaving for any purpose or dangerous or overly aggressive riding will result in the Clerk of Course or nominated official presenting a black flag to the racer in question. Whenever a black flag is presented, the racer in question must pull off the track immediately.

6. If riders fall during racing, they must move themselves (and their bike if possible) immediately from the Race Track to a safe area.

7. If a bike stalls on the Race Track, the rider must remove it to a safe area off the Track before attempting to restart the bike.

8. A Bike cannot be substituted with another during a race, once the bike has left the Dummy Grid.

9. If a bike enters the pits during a race, it will automatically be deemed as a DNF.

10. Racers must only enter the track via the designated Track Entrance. Racers must only exit the track via the designated Track Exit except in cases of falls or breakdowns.

11. Racers planning to exit the track must slow to a safe controlled speed and indicate their intentions by raising an arm to signal the racers behind them. Racers must never cut across the track in front of other racers.

12. All racers that participate in an event give the organisers the rights to use all photos, interviews, video and the like for promotional needs without further permission from the racers.

13. Race bikes can only be ridden under power on the Dummy Grid and Racetrack.

14. Only authorised motor vehicles will be allowed to operate outside the racetrack. Race bikes, pit bikes and other motorised vehicles are NOT allowed to operate in the pit area or any other area. Pushbikes are not permitted in the Pit area.

17. It is the responsibility of each racer and the Parent/Legal Guardian of Junior Racers to fully understand the rulebook and all information contained.

18. All racers and the Parent/Legal Guardian of Junior Racers are required to attend a pre-race Riders Briefing to explain the event format, track, flagging and racing regulations.

19. Failure by any racer (or Parent/Legal Guardian if a Junior) to attend the Riders Briefing will require the Racer concerned to start at the back of the grid for each of his/her races.

20. All racers must sign all indemnity forms at the time of registration and must pay race entry fees prior to riding on the circuit.

21. All minors must have a Parent or legal guardian present to sign all waivers in order to participate. That Parent or Legal Guardian must remain at the venue for the whole time the minor is competing.

22. All course marshals must be in place before the Clerk of Course will allow any racing to commence.

24. All final decisions made by the Clerk of Course cannot be protested.

25. At no time is Pit crew or racers not competing in the current event, allowed on the racetrack without permission from the Clerk of Course. Doing so will be grounds for disqualification of the relevant racer.

When a red flag is shown at the start or at a corner station you must signal the racers behind you to show them that you are slowing to a safe controlled speed, and should proceed slowly to the pit area. Do not stop on the track unless it is blocked and is impassable, or if a race official asks you to do so.

White Flag or Last Lap Board:
