yep,another newbie

hey all,just saying hi,im melb based and just getting into this awesome looking sport,ive plyed with little 50s that u can hire at sth morang for about a yr and have seen some of u guys there on these little rockets zooming round the track,it looks like such a rush.can someone plz let me know when the next meet is so i can rock up and talk to some of the blokesin the know?just 1 question to start the ball rolling,at 85-90kg am i too big to race these things?obviously i wouldnt be racing straight away but eventually i would like to get involved in the more competitive side of the sport.thanks in advance,a8)

Welcome addict. Lots of people here race at Sth Morang so they should be able to tell you when the next meet is. 85-90kg isn't too big although the smaller guys will have a speed advantage, nothing too bad though. There's plenty of dealers in Melb. to help you out with advise, bikes and parts (see ads on this forum). I'd suggest talking to them rather than going the E-bay route.
